Fri 3 May 2019
Kala Sangam Arts Centre, St Peter's House, 1 Forster Square, Bradford, BD1 4EH
Anyone working with families
In order to absorb complex change while continuing to build and maintain effective relationships, we all need resilience.
This masterclass will use cutting-edge research and tools that can be used in both your professional and personal lives, helping you to be you, brilliantly!
During the session you will learn:
Dr Andy Cope, Art of Brilliance
Andy Cope is a qualified teacher, author and learning junkie. He is UK’s first ‘Doctor of Happiness’ (yes, really!) having completed a PhD in Positive Psychology at Loughborough University. He is also a best-selling author; he writes the ‘Brilliant’ range of self-help books for adults and teenagers, and also pens the successful children’s ‘Spy Dog’ series for Puffin.
Andy’s done numerous TV and radio appearances. He has also set up the hugely successful 2%ers club, the UK’s first, foremost and…err…only society for happy people.
Gill Thornton, Head of Programme, Better Start Bradford
Gill Thornton is Head of Programme at Better Start Bradford. As one of the people involved in Better Start Bradford from its conception, she knows all too well how vital it is to have solid relationships in place to enable such a complex programme to exist and thrive.
Our programme of shared learning events and knowledge cafes provide ongoing networking and informal learning opportunities for the Better Start Bradford workforce. These opportunities are open to all those working with expectant families or families with children aged 0-3, community leaders and families wanting to learn more.
Places are limited so please book your place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. You are welcome to forward these event details to your colleagues, friends and families too.
