About the event:

We would love members from community and faith organisations to come and join us to discuss how we can build on the neighbourhood working model developed by our steering group for the Better Start Bradford area.

We are looking at funding five new community engagement workers based in different community or faith organisations across the Better Start Bradford area.

On the day, we want you to:

  • See the programme model and discuss it
  • Feedback/comment on what you like and don’t like about the model
  • See if your organisation could be part of the Neighbourhoods Programme going forward
  • Consider making an expression of interest to manage one of the five community engagement workers

The Neighbourhoods Programme has been developed collaboratively with a steering group of community organisations from across our wards and with our Better Start Bradford Community Engagement Specialist.

Our steering group are looking forward to meeting you:

  • Sarah Hinton – Shine
  • David Holt – Street Life Thornbury Centre
  • Javed Khan – West Bowling Advice Service
  • Mel Astin – BD4 Family

Please come and join us for this workshop:
