About the event:

  • Are mealtimes stressful for you and your family?
  • Would you like to be more confident when cooking?
  • Are you interested in ideas for encouraging your family to eat healthy foods?
  • Would you like time and space to think about shopping for you and your family and how to eat healthily on a budget?

Cooking for a Better Start will help you learn how to cook low-cost, healthy meals for you and your family.

Dads, mums, grandparents, aunts and uncles are all welcome – anyone who looks after a child aged under 4 in the Better Start Bradford area. There will be a crèche available or children can be included, and everyone who takes part will take home a free cooking-related gift at the end of each week.

The groups are all free of charge. The date below is the start date. Sessions will be between 12.00-2.30pm every Tuesday for six weeks from 18 October 2018 to 27 November 2018 (with a break for half term).

Please contact Lisa on 07519 109904 or [email protected] for further details.

There will be lots of other groups running in venues across Bowling and Barkerend, Bradford Moor and Little Horton over the coming months. In the event that this particular group is full you can be added to a waiting list.
